The Preserve is an extraordinarily detailed vintage decanter depicting an eagle perched high above a pair of foxes tucked into the base of a weathered tree, complete with its original “Game Preserve — No Hunting” sign.
Hidden beneath the woodland scene is an original wind-up musical mechanism, adding another wonderfully unexpected piece of history to this already unusual vessel. Rather than interrupting the sculptural scene, Puff & Wick’s functional conversion is tucked discreetly into the reverse of the vessel, allowing the original artwork to remain the star.
Finished with an amber butterfly-shaped glass bowl, The Preserve blurs the line between vintage sculpture and functional smokeware.
